Last Tuesday, the Saints traveled to Chickasha, Oklahoma, to take on the Drovers. The Saints went into the match knowing they had to be on top of their game against an NAIA school.
The Saints started the match by winning the first set 25-19. USAO then fought back and captured the second set 22-25. The next set was a nail bitter as the Saints grabbed a 2-1 lead after winning 27-25. The Saints then finished it off after taking the last 25-20.
Everyone performed well for the Saints. Teagan Hamilton led the team in kills with 15, followed by Kinzee Goodno and Andi Fudge, who both had eight. Hamilton also led the team with 22 digs. Priscilla Crowell and Andi Fudge also combined for 38 digs.
The Saints played outstanding and look to carry the momentum into Friday's games against Oklahoma Wesleyan and Arlington Baptist. Stay tuned for more info.
