Lady Saints Volleyball Dominates: Sweep on Senior Night

The Randall University Women's Volleyball team put together one of their most complete performances of the season, sweeping Dallas Christian College 3–0 (25–22, 28–26, 25–16) in a Southwest Region matchup on Thursday night. The Saints controlled the tempo from the first serve, using consistent offense and sharp defense to improve to 6–10 overall and 2–2 in NCCAA Southwest Region play.

It was a night to remember for the two Randall seniors, Kylie Thompson and Navaeh Ramsey, who both made their presence felt from start to finish. Thompson, the floor general for the Saints, ran the offense with precision—racking up a team-high 33 assists while adding four service aces, eight digs, and a block assist. Her poise and leadership kept Randall steady through long rallies and tight moments, especially in the thrilling second set that ended 28–26.

Fellow senior Navaeh Ramsey delivered on both sides of the ball, finishing with five kills and a .500 hitting percentage to go along with solid defense at the net. Ramsey's energy and consistency provided a spark that helped the Saints dominate in key stretches, particularly in the third set where Randall hit an impressive .345 as a team to seal the sweep.

Addyson Day added 12 kills, and Jordan Hardesty chipped in 11 to complement the senior duo's strong showing. The Saints' attack stayed balanced all evening, with five players recording multiple kills and the team totaling 45 assists, 40 digs, and 8 service aces in the match.

Head Coach Mike Freeman, Assistant Katelyn Crosby, and the team couldn't have asked for a better performance from their senior leaders. Thompson and Ramsey have been anchors for the Saints program, and their composure and playmaking were on full display against a tough regional opponent.

The Saints now look to carry this momentum into their final two regular season home games:
- October 24th vs Southwestern Adventist University at 2 PM
- October 30th vs Southwestern College (KS) at 6 PM

With confidence growing and veteran leadership leading the way, Randall aims to finish the regular season strong and continue building toward postseason success.
