The Randall University Men's Basketball team made a statement on January 20, defeating #9-ranked Ozark Christian College, 80–72, in Moore, Oklahoma, behind a balanced and relentless offensive attack.
The Saints set the tone early, taking a 39–35 lead at halftime, and never let Ozark Christian fully seize momentum in the second half. Randall's ability to answer every run proved decisive, as the Saints shot confidently from deep and shared the ball effectively throughout the night.
Five Saints finished in double figures, showcasing the depth and versatility of the lineup. Kainan Ryan led the way with 20 points, knocking down four three-pointers and providing timely scoring whenever Ozark Christian threatened to close the gap. Cameron Hainrihar followed with 15 points, adding steady playmaking with five assists while controlling the tempo. Levi Steele gave the Saints a major spark off the bench, pouring in 15 points and hitting three triples, while also being active defensively with four steals. Blestin Miller chipped in 14 points and a team-high nine rebounds, bringing physicality on both ends, and Carson Thomas rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points, contributing key buckets and defensive effort.
Randall's shooting from beyond the arc played a huge role, as the Saints connected on 12 three-pointers, stretching Ozark Christian's defense and opening up driving lanes. Defensively, Randall stayed disciplined and forced tough possessions late to secure the upset.
The Saints now turn their attention to a big home matchup, as they welcome Manhattan Christian College (RV). The contest carries added motivation after Manhattan Christian edged Randall by five points in their meeting last month, setting the stage for a competitive rematch as the Saints look to protect their home floor and continue their momentum.
