Clark Scores In Final Seconds To Lift Saints Over Bears

Haviland, KS: Last Tuesday, the Saints took on the Barclay Bears for their 8th game of the season. The Saints had a strong offensive outing scoring a total of 102 points.

After the first half, the game was tied 48-48. From beginning to end, it was neck and neck. The Saints were able to pull away with two seconds left after Jordan Marshall assisted Brent Clark on a fast break. The Saints finished on top with a score of 102-100.

Three different Saints players scored 20 or more points. Brent Clark finished with 20 points and 4-4 from the free-throw line. Jordan Marshall led the team with 25 points; he also tallied eight rebounds. Malik Martin scored 20 points as well and led the team in rebounds with nine. Zach LerBlance had the most points off the bench with eight, followed by Chris Alexander and Jaelen Arnette with six.

The Saints finished the game 42-69 from the field (60.9%). They shot 14-21 from the line (66.7%). The Saints also finished with 34 rebounds and a strong 60 points in the paint.
