Last Monday night, the Saints hosted USAO for their first game of the season. The Saints knew from the start that it would be a battle, as usual, with NAIA schools.

The Saints finished the first half extremely hot, shooting 40.6% from the field with a three-point lead. However, the second half was a different story. The Saints struggled to get their offense going, which resulted in the Saints falling behind. As time ran out, the Saints found themselves farther and farther out. The Drovers ended up coming away with the win 92-70.

The Saints ultimately learned a lot from this game. After all, they have 12 new players on the team who are still learning how to play with each other. The Saints have an extremely bright future ahead of them.

Jeremiah Coleman led the team in scoring off the bench with ten points. James Thomas followed right behind with nine points. Jordan Marshall almost finished with a double-double, having eight rebounds and eight points. Brent Clark also finished with eight points and four rebounds.
